About
What Is The Hub?
These moments revealed what Senator Pryor already suspected: Democrats, Independents, and even some moderate Republicans all over Arkansas don’t like the direction our state is going and are eager to make a change. They care deeply about the state’s future but often feel disconnected, isolated, or unsure how to get involved.
The Hub was created to change that. It’s not a new organization, but rather a meeting place, a connector, a launchpad. The Hub brings people together, keeps them informed, and connects them to good candidates and causes. It’s here to remind us: we are not alone.
Arkansas politics has become too nationalized and divided. Real change starts at home – with effort, organizing, and persistence. Or, as Michelle Obama simply put it: “Do something.” To make a difference in our state we all need to do something. Just taking in the news and getting angry does not get the job done. The Hub empowers people to take action.
When Senator Pryor told his mom about the Hub, she said, “I’m glad you’re not giving up.” He’s glad you’re not either.
Mission
The Hub is a monthly online gathering for Democrats and Independents to engage around Arkansas political issues, candidates, and current events. We are a force for change, supporting people and organizations that will positively influence the future direction of our state. A central connecting point, The Hub is the conduit to save Arkansas from nationalized politics and foster the return of good policy making.

What We Do
Think of the Hub like an airport, a computer, a wheel, or a network: it connects people to where they need to go. It allows like-minded people to band together and work together for change. It helps them communicate, strengthens their shared purpose, and coordinates action. We want the Hub to help us all get organized and stay organized.
We meet online every third Tuesday of the month from 5:00-6:00 pm CT. Each meeting features speakers – candidates, elected officials, and organizations – who share ways you can get involved. We always save time for discussion.
Afterwards, we send a follow-up bulletin with meeting highlights, volunteer opportunities, events, and relevant Arkansas news.
The Hub is grassroots, all-volunteer, and built by people who believe Arkansas can do better – together.
